Over the years, I’ve had many clients who need help with their estate plans. For some, estate planning seems like something to do later in life, when it’s time to “put your affairs in order.” Nothing could be further from the truth.
A will and estate plan organizes your affairs and manages your assets tax efficiently in the event of incapacity or death. Yet half of Canadians (51%) say they have no will in place, while only a third (35%) say they have one that’s up to date.
